My Love Affair with Molton Brown

Re-charge Black Pepper Body WashI have a confession. I am obsessed with Molton Brown products, and it’s not just because I secretly want to expatriate to Britain or that I adore all things English. Molton Brown makes some of the best-smelling body washes, body scrubs, skin care and hair care products. I’ve just barely started to scratch the surface of the line. Lately,  I’ve been using Molton Brown’s Recharge Black Pepper Body Wash. I know it sounds like it must smell a bit funky. Who wants to smell like pepper? Well, I do. It’s a fantastic, rich lathering body wash with a warm, almost-musky scent. And the scent lingers with you. It doesn’t wash down the drain with the bubbles, so you smell fantastic for hours afterward.  Now, it’s not all about scent, either. I hate body washes that leave your skin feeling like it has just been stripped of every last bit of moisture or it leaves some awkward soapy film on your body. MB doesn’t let you down. Sure, you can pick up a body wash from the grocery store and smell like an Axe Deodorant spray, but wouldn’t you rather smell like a great cologne?

You can get Molton Brown online or at Bloomingdales stores. If you’re not in NYC, visit the Molton Brown website to find a store near you.
