Dove, those friendly folks who make all sorts of products that you use when you’re at your girlfriend’s house, has created a short film to help demystify the whole “goddess in advertising.” While this ad/film is meant to help women feel better about themselves by revealing all the magic and photoshopping of images to make a regular woman blessed with high cheek bones look drop dead gorgeous in an ad or magazine cover, it is also kind of upsetting for the guys who lust after these ultra-perfect ladies (I’m not one of …

I’ve been reviewing some of the photos from New York’s Olympus Fashion Week here in Bryant Park and I’m a bit shocked to see that the hairstyles for men have mostly remained unchanged since the Fall 2005 runway shows.
The biggest trends:
— The forehead is usually covered by long hair up front, so start growing out your bangs.
— Sideparts are in for longer hair. But the classic “short back and sides” with a sidepart seems to be phasing out.
