SheKnowsBest has an early look at DKNY Men, the latest fragrance collection from the queen of New York fashion, Donna Karan. The fragrance sounds like it’s a blend of florals, warm classic woods, some bright citrus touches and a pinch of spice. Are men taking pedicures too far and adding that extra touch of polish? Say it ain’t so. Perhaps it’s just some quarantined Hollywood trend. We’re fine with guys hitting the spa for a little toenail maintenance, a massage and a facial. But toenail polish is going too far. Our recommendations? Skip the Pretty Ballerina Pink polish. We’ll overlook the clear polish. [TheFrisky]

Speaking of pedicures, the state of Florida has outlawed the (popular?) treatment to have fish nibble away at the callussed skin on your feet. The whole thing sounds a bit unnerving to me, but some people swear by it. If you want to be eaten by fish, hit the beach, swim in a lake or wade in a river. Nail salons should be extremely sanitary and sticking my feet in a fishbowl doesn’t sound too clean to me. [The Inquisitr]

I don’t have anything against drugstore products—I use many of them—but La Roche Posay has usually been limited to high-end boutiques and spas like SkinCareLab in SoHo.

Clearly, the L’Oreal-owned brand is making a big push into the U.S. market now that mexoryl has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration. So, if you’ve been having trouble finding La Roche Posay products, visit your local CVS. Not all stores have the full line, however. To find out if your nearby store has the line, check out the La Roche Posay website’s store locator.

The prices weren’t too steep, either. While my Toleriane foaming cleanser and rich moisturizer were priced at $20 each, my CVS membership card gave me a $10 discount.

Baxter of California, has done just that. After 40 years in the grooming game, and under the direction of handsome leading man Jean-Pierre (J.P.) Mastey, the brand has reinvented itself again with a chic new look that is sure to improve the look of your dopp kit and bathroom counter.

The new packaging and website is part of the brand’s push with new products including a mojito flavored lip balm, matte finish styling clay for hair and travel accessories (sound like a dopp kit to me).

Here’s the latest information about the new packaging from the PR release:

“Baxter of California’s newly redesigned aesthetic, created by California- based brand/packaging design company Digi Akimo incorporates a distinctive, matte “Baxter Blue” packaging, and labeling with an artistic typographic spin. The timeless qualities of Baxter’s logo and griffin mascot are paired with relevant ASCII art icons comprised of computer generated symbols representing each of the four product lines; Cleanse, Hair, Hydrate and Shave. A graphic bar code dominates the stark white label, making a statement about commerce as an art form in its own right, which resonates with the cultural creative who lives his work. “

My personal favorite? The Super Close Shave Formula with antiseptic Tea Tree Oil. The Mojito Flavored Lip Balm sounds delicious.
